Re-brand - Yale Art School

If you have ever visited the website of Yale School of Art, you know it’s... an experience. The website is known for its unpredictable style and borderline chaotic aesthetic, and is as famous as the school itself. But what happens when you try to bring a little UX order to it...?

Over a two-month period, I took on the challenge of reimagining the Yale School of Art’s online presence as a UX designer. I crafted a creative brief rooted in the school’s bold identity, redesigned the colour palette to balance vibrancy with accessibility, and built interactive prototypes to bring the new vision to life.

This project offered me the opportunity to dive deep into visual storytelling and design systems. The goal for me wasn’t to tame the boldness—but to celebrate it while making the experience more intuitive for users.
